February 4, 2021: Julie decided she wanted to come spend her 40th Birthday here with me in Washington. So I booked us some relaxing pedicure and facial appointments to celebrate.
(We forgot to take pictures, but we had a great time!)
We also enjoyed delicious food at Burgerville and Old Spaghetti Factory, as well as an array of cupcakes for her birthday dessert.
And of watched our fare share of Hallmark movies.
Febuary 7: We drove up to walk around the grounds of the Pittock Mansion in Portland and then hiked to the Witch's Castle.
The hike to the Witch's Castle was a beautiful, mostly downhill hike on the way and lots of uphill on the return. We had a good time.
Tux walked a little, but mostly Paxton just carried him in the pouch.

Our cousin, Kathy and her girls came over for a visit and to meet Tux.
February 8: Austin and Julie like to go hiking together, so Versii and Paxton went with them to hike around Round Lake, here in Camas.
February 8: Versii and I went with Julie to shop for a new couch. They do not have Macy's in St George and she had seen a few couch's on their site online, she wanted to check out.
The above couch, in blue, is what she picked out. Although there was only one saleman in the department and he was working with someone to place a big order, right before us. So we had to wait and it took 3 hours from the time Julie picked the couch, to when the purchase was completed.
While we waited, Versii and I tested out a lot of furniture. He was in love with this feather filled sectional couch, so much that he was trying to convince me to get rid of his bed and just replace it with this couch. Sorry Versii, your bed will have to do for now. But it was comfortable!
Also while we waited for Julie, we walked down the mall and bought Auntie Anne's pretzel bites and checked out Bricks and Minifigs. These were just some of the detailed Lego Creations they had on display. Versii was in awe!
