Since we have been married Josh has bought 6 guitars and sold 7. There was something always wrong with them. The sound. On top of that they always cost thousands. That's right not hundreds, thousands. He always said the guitars never had the sound that he was looking for. So he sold his Taylor to fund his latest project. (He always has a project.) This project: To build the guitar with the sound he was looking for. Bolivian Rosewood because Brazilian Rosewood is on the endangered species list. He built a Jumbo, a Dread naught and a 00. The 00, similar design to the 1940 Gibson L00 without rounded shoulders. You can see it in most of the pictures. It came out the best and Josh has been playing it a lot as it does sound better than the Taylor that cost much more than what it cost Josh to build a better product. It is not varnished and Josh still has to do the Back Binding.
He's says this is the kind of sound he's always wanted from a guitar.
...And here's Kaden trying it out too.

He's just started showing interest in learning to play.
He can't find a better teacher than his Dad!

Wowee, that's a lot of work. good for him! It looks awesome, wish I could hear it.
I'm so impressed, I can't even imagine thinking a normal person could actually make his own guitar! So extremely talented...it looks amazing.
