Saturday morning, we all packed up and drove over to the coast. First we stopped at Uncle Leo's and Aunt Becky's for lunch.
Dad and Uncle Leo laughing when I asked Dad not to make silly faces for the camera.
Getting ready to roast hot dogs and marshmallows.
While we were there Kaden was the unfortunate sting victim of a yellow jacket.
In the middle: Kaden making his best "scared" face, while nursing his wound.
Pax and Versii loving Uncle Leo's singing deer.
Thanks for lunch Leo and Becky!
After lunch, we drove over to Neskowin Beach.
We'd never been there before, but I have to say it's the perfect beach! And we were there on the perfect day!
Neskowin is like a little beach island oasis. On one side is a calm river that allows the kids to safely play without worrying about the tide and yet you still have the ocean to enjoy on the other side.
The sand castle was a group effort.
Kaden digging a hole to be buried in.
We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day at the beach.
After our day at the beach, the kids had a great time swimming together at the hotel pool.
