First Week of Summer

 June 27, 2017: First day of summer. 

 Versii and Paxton were up bright and early.  They asked me if I'd help them build a fort in the basement.  So we put up the tent and attached blankets spanning to the edge of the couch.  And they spent one night in the fort.

 June 29, 2017 

Josh's Business Partner, Andrew and his wife Katie, had their 2nd baby on June 20th, Mason Everett.  His middle name will be easy for me to remember, since my Grandpa Thatcher's middle name was Everett.  When we said we'd like to come see the baby, we also offered to bring dinner over.  So we brought steaks and chicken to barbecue, fresh fruit and steamed vegetables. 

 Versii and Paxton spent time with their older son, Landon, who is almost 3.  They had great fun playing in the pool and running around the yard while Josh and I enjoyed chatting with Katie and Andrew.  --Kaden wasn't with us because he left early in the morning for a 3-day float trip adventure with Grandpa. (See added pictures below)

 Versii was excited to find a small frog in the pool.

My cousin Jared shared his photos of Kaden and Dad on their float trip.  They had a great time camping and floating the river!

 July 1, 2017 - Kaden didn't bother to use his hat or the sunscreen he packed.  He had quite the sunburn from being on the water for 3 days.  He said the only part that really bothered him was his forehead...hence the cold damp cloth.
