Utah to Colorado to New Mexico and back

July 28, 2022

I don't handle traveling well since the accident, so Josh flew me from Portland to Salt Lake, while he and the boys drove.  We spent a day with Great Grandma playing games and then we drove to Cortez, Colorado.  We went for Josh's sister Dani's wedding and for Grant's mission farewell.

July 29th, playing games at Jordan's with Jamie, Jake, Heather, Autumn and Brandon.

We had a great time playing Pegs and Jokers, Cover Your Assets and Monopoly Deal.

July 30th, Driving to La Plata, New Mexico for Dani's wedding.

There was not a lot of parking at the wedding site, so they asked Versii, Logan and another teen, to help ferry wedding guests between the church parking lot down the road and the wedding.  

Versii was so excited and he had the best time!  And even made a few tips.

When Josh and I went to his sister Ariel's wedding, we took a photo at the bride and groom's table when they weren't looking LOL.  So when Dani and Chance were away...we took our shot.  Now it's tradition I guess to grab a Mr. and Mrs. photo haha!

July 31st.

We were back in Cortez to attend Grant's mission farewell.

He's going on his mission to Austin, Texas and he's going to be a fabulous missionary!

Josh's Grandpa Owens' happens to be in Spencer and Nicole's ward, so we sat by him at church and visited a little after.

On our way back home we stopped in Grand Junction to visit Darlene and her daughter April.

In Utah, we stayed the night with Matt, Crystal, and Penelope.  

We had planned to stop by and visit Grandma again, but she called to say she wasn't feeling well and she didn't want to get us sick.

We took an evening walk with P, down to the park.
