Today, May 11, 2012, was the annual Prescott Elementary School's Fun Run. Kaden wanted us there to cheer him on! Paxton & Versii had their own fun run in the field while we waited for Kaden's group to get to the track.
Here's our first shot of Kaden as he noticed we were on the side lines.
"Go Kaden! Go!"
Versii yells, "Watch Mom! Watch me run down the hill!" --Then he immediately fell and landed face down on the pavement. Mostly he just scraped up his palms, but no blood.
Right after the fall...it took a few minutes for him to recover.

"One minute everyone!" --Kaden's mad dash to the finish line to complete his 11th lap! They run on the high school track which is a 1/4 of a mile per lap. Kaden ran 11 laps in 30 minutes! That's 2.75 miles. --For those of you who are runners, that's a 10:54 pace, right? Not too bad for a kid who's almost 9 in 9 days!
