Our Day with the Westcott's

April 20th, 2021: We decided to drive down to Clearwater Beach to spend our day with the Wescott's.

We got to see the dolphins a few times.

They took us out to this small shell island, where we docked for about 30 minutes with the option to snorkel or hunt for shells.  The kids all opted to look for shells.

It was not the type of island you'd want to go barefoot on.  The entire island was covered in shells.  On one side, the beach was covered in tiny shells and on the other side the beach was covered in larger broken shells.  It was really neat and the kids just loved searching for shell treasure.

After our cruise, we walked down to Clear Sky Cafe for dinner.  We had eaten here at the beginning of our trip, while staying in Clearwater Beach.  They have a huge variety of delicious food, from burgers, to pizza to sushi.  

It was such a fantastic day spending time with dear friends, playing at the beach, watching the dolphins, collecting shells and sharing delicious food. We packed a lot of memories into our day with the Wescott's!
