Memories...

I saw this on my friend Trenya's blog.

Trenya, I just started reading your blog, and I'll play along. Although, I don't know how many people read my blog either, so we'll see what we get. Here's how you play:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. Let the memories begin!

I remember when you first came to our ward and I talked to you for a minute after Sacrament Meeting. You had that cute new baby with the beautiful big eyes. I asked his name and you told me it was Versii. I thought it was Versailles at first, like the city in France, but I liked it. I can't believe how big he is now!

Hi Joy! I don't have a blog (still haven't given in), so you won't have to worry about leaving a comment on mine. :) However, I do want to share a memory or two with you: One of my favorite summer time memories was staying at your farm-type house while Grandma and Grandpa were building their's (and had their trailer parked in your back yard). One random thing I remember about that summe was that you and Julie had just gotten two tiny little dogs and we took them for a walk one day and one accidentally got in a neighbor's yard and you freaked out because you were afraid their rottweilers (or some other big mean dogs) were going to kill her. I think you made Rob climb the fence to get her back. I also remember when you used to visit your grandma in Murray and we'd go to the city pool and swim! Those were the days!

Brittany, here's my memory about you: I remember staying the night at your house once, and we girls had a slumber party in your room downstairs. I remember looking through and picking a bunch of greeting cards to take home. We sat and chatted half the night. It was so fun!

Hmmm...I have so many fun joy memories. Lets see, I remember I used to think your first glasses were the coolest (ahh the sad days of the early 90's....) with the pink rhinstones on the sides. Yes, I realize that they were super dorky (now) but I did think they were the coolest (then). I loved playing at your house with you and Julie (once julie and I finally started getting along...do you remember the party we had when we (julie and I) spent the whole day without getting in a fight? We had those nasty space gel candy things...YUCK! But so tastey then! I also remember my lovely random JOY calls when I lived in Colorado Springs and you were in Denver...you'd be procrastinating or working on a project and you'd call me at random hours, I loved it! I miss my random JOY calls. Whatever happened to those? Anyway those are my memories. Love ya!

I remember seeing you in our ward last year...you know the FIRST time you moved here lol..and you were prego and my "perception" of you then is nothing like what you really are now that I know you. You seemed very serious to me then but now I know you are fun, funny, silly and super duper sweet:)

Nicole, here's my memory of you: I remember when I first saw you, the 1st time I was in the ward, I thought, wow, she always looks so put together and I loved your sense of style. I still think that. But now I'm glad that I am getting to know you.

Joy -- haha. While I don't remember that night particularly well (no offense), I do remember the days when my mom worked for all those card companies and we had an endless supply of cards. In fact, I STILL to this day have a bag of those cards that I use on a fairly regular basis. I think I just used one of them to give to Brian on our anniversary! What does that say about me that I'm so cheap I use cards from 10-15 years ago?

Ok, Amy M. - Here's my memory about you, since I can't read your blog...(hint, hint) - I remember one of the 1st times I saw you at church and you were looking quite stylish. You were wearing those hot pink heels you have and I remember thinking those are the cutest shoes and she's probably one of the only people who can look so good in them. Plus you have really cute girls too.
