Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum

January 30th -
We were invited out to the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum by Josh's co-worker, Lynn. Her husband Ron used his connections to get us in free and he gave us a personal tour. We had a great time! Thanks a million, Ron and Lynn!

Here are the boys standing in front of the famous "Spruce Goose".

Planes, trucks, cars & helicopters....these are a few of my boys favorites things. The boys saw them all! You have no idea how badly
Versii wanted to climb inside all of the the cars and trucks.

This is inside the Spruce Goose. Ron took the boys up for a personal tour of the cockpit. This experience normally comes with a $50 price tag. Super cool! Many thanks Ron, the boys loved it!

Here I am waiting down below with Paxton.

If you ever thought to complain about the leg-room in a commercial aircraft...check this out. How would you like to be stuck in these seats. We weren't aloud inside this plane, but I'd venture to say you'd be lucky to fit your knees behind these seats. Talk about cramped spaces. Ron said the planes were so loud that the flight attendants used to hand out cotton balls to stuff in your ears.

Here are the boys inside the bomber.

Go get 'em boys!

"Are we there yet?!"

"Look Mommy, real moon rocks, cool!"

Before we even made it back to the car, the boys were already asking to go back!

My Girlfriend's Birthday!

January 21st, I went to a surprise party for my friend Nicole. (She's the blonde to the right of me.) We went and learned Salsa dancing at a dance studio in Portland. It was a really fun time. But it would take me weeks to perfect my dance moves...one hour is not enough. Maybe when the boys are a little older I'd love to take some dance lessons! Thanks ladies! I had a great time!

Saturday Snow

January 2
nd -
Dad, Josh & Kaden went up to the mountain with our friend Margo & her son Nathan. They had a great time sledding and playing in the snow.

Happy New Year

Paxton - New Year's Eve - 7 months old

Here we are on New Year's Eve. We spent New Year's at our friend's Margo & Marvin's house. Margo cooked a fabulous meal: We indulged in Prime Rib,
broccoli salad, bean salad, garlic mashed potatoes, cooked carrots with cream & corn and yummy bread. ...And for dessert we had homemade turtle cheesecake! It was to die for: a graham cracker crust with caramel and pecans and topped with chocolate sauce and tiny chocolate chips! Margo is a great cook! She taught me how to make stuffed chicken and it's super good! ---Maybe I'll invite you over sometime so you can sample it. :) Thanks M!

Also, Paxton climbed the stairs for the very first time on Dec. 31st. We now have baby gates upstairs and down.
