Christmas 2010

I love looking at the trees all lit up at night!

Christmas morning.

Santa brought Kaden a new Nintendo D.S. - He was super excited! Plus it came in a Mario Bros. case. His favorite game ever! Whenever he brings drawings home from school, 99% of the time, they are of Mario and Luigi! The kid is obsessed!
Unloading their stockings.

Of course, Kaden spent a lot of time Christmas morning playing D.S.

Santa brought
Versii his very own Lego set. He loves it!
And now Kaden says he just wants to play with Versii's Lego's, because his are old and boring.
So he gets a taste of his own medicine. But Versii loves to play & share with his big brother. It's been a great lesson for Kaden.

Santa brought Paxton an Alfie Robot.

Enjoying some Christmas chocolate!
This is what Paxton's face always looks like after he eats! Such a sweet mess! :)

The boys got colored
light stick/flashlights in their stockings and they had a great time playing with them in the dark.

Great Wolf Lodge - Grand Mound, Washington

December 15 & 16, 2010 - We took the boys up to The Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, Washington. It's an indoor water park resort. And due to the safety of the camera, we don't have any photos in the water park, but everyone had a great time! Kaden even went on all the water slides with Josh. Versii and Paxton really enjoyed the the kiddie slides.

December

December 1, 2010
Cowboy Paxton, bug riding.
(Wearing Grandpa's hat, of course.)

December 4, 2010 - All dressed up for "Come to Bethlehem"

The boys had a great time. And Paxton had a great love for the baby doll. He would rock it and pat it's back. So cute!

Left: Kaden showing off the paper bag reindeer. Kaden named his "Kado", Versii named his "N.G.O." (from B-I-N-G-O) and we just called Paxton's "Pax".
Right: We made gingerbread houses for the first time this year. The kids had a blast making them, although they only wanted to eat the candy.

November

November 20, 2010 - Paxton is quite the helper. Here he is helping Grandpa rake the leaves. He did more scattering with his little rake than raking, but Grandpa loves his little helper.

Kaden's Thanksgiving turkey.

Finger Painting Fun

November 19, 2010 - The boys had a great time
finger painting.
Paxton painted more of his body than the paper, but he had fun too.

The Ice Caves....Almost.

November 27, 2010
We decided to drive up through Washington to go visit the ice caves there. But about 4 miles from our destination, the snow became too deep for our car. So we stopped for a little photo-op and a walk in the snow. This was Paxton's first experience in the snow. Versii still wants to go to the ice caves. Maybe on a day that's not so snowy.
(You won't see Kaden here, he was down in Colorado for Thanksgiving with his Mama.)
