September Highlights

 September 6, 2018:
Versii snuggling on the couch with Cerin.
September 7th: Camping in Stevenson with our friends, the Higgins.
Paxton swinging on the rope swing at camp.

The boys testing out the swing.

Attempting to take a selfie of everyone!

 Erica and Liam.
 Sean and Liam.
The campsite we stayed in was in a beautiful area!  But unfortunately these train tracks weren't far from our site...and the trains ran all night long!  So many trains!  They were loud and would shake the trailer.  We won't be staying there again, but we still managed to have fun!

September 14th: Kaden came home from school and slapped this down on the table with a grin.  He said, "I got my ID today."  I immediately noticed something off about it.  And I jokingly said to him, "Did you notice anything odd about this?  Or should I start calling you Julian?  Or Mr. Patterson?"  Haha!  He didn't find it as funny as I did...and he sure doesn't like me to share it...but it really gave us a good laugh!
 School Pictures: Kaden Age 15
 Versii: Age 11
Paxton: Age 9

Cerin laying on the Exploding Kittens puzzle Grandma got us.
Our first time trying to grow an avocado from a pit, that actually produces a plant.  Yay!
September 28th: My friend Annalei and I with Nicole at one of her Rodan + Fields parties...after trying the new Radiant Defense.

1st Day of School

 September 4, 2018:
Sending the boys off to their 1st Day back to School, 3 different schools.
Paxton: Elementary School - 4th Grade

Viewpoint & McMenamins Edgefield

 September 3, 2018:
Josh and I took Jamie and Jordan to see Josh's favorite viewpoint of the Columbia River Gorge. (From the Washington side.)

Then we took them over to explore McMenamin's Edgefield.
Jamie loves to garden and they have a huge garden at Edgefield.

 Playing a round of golf.

Camping in Long Beach

August 31, 2018:
Camping in Long Beach and exploring Astoria with Jamie, Jordan and Kam.

The boys love to play around!

September 1: Josh's business parter, Kerry, brought his boat to the coast and took Josh, Jordan, Jamie and Kam out crabbing.  They were excited to try crabbing for the first time!

Kerry

While everyone else was out crabbing, I took Versii and Paxton swimming, then into town to the carnival and out for ice cream!  They had so much fun riding carnival rides!

Waiting in an insanely long line at the ice cream shop.

Only a fraction of the crabs they caught!
After they got back to camp, Kerry and the guys prepared and cooked up all the crabs.  Thanks again Kerry for taking our family out on the boat and for cooking crab dinner!  They loved it!

September 2: Exploring the coast around Cape Disappointment.

Cape Disappointment Lighthouse

Visiting the Columbia Maritime Museum.
The boys trying their hand at Weather Forecasting.
