Josh has been away working in West Virginia all summer. He had 4 days off over Labor Day weekend and flew home to spend them with us. We had a great time with him while he was here. Monday, late afternoon, we drove up to L.L. Stub Stewart state park. We rented cabin no. 12 - Nice cabin, beautiful park!
Going for a hike.
Daddy & his boys!
Gorgeous views. Up on this summit you could see the moon on your left & the sun setting to your right. I only wish I could have a picture of both together.
Which way should we go?
Josh told a few stories while we hiked. One about some headless horseman lurking in the woods...and Kaden's worried face is him wanting to go back to camp ASAP!
Josh taught Kaden how to chop wood.
Paxton used his camp chair's cup holder to collect rocks & dirt! He's such a dirty little boy. If there's dirt, he's all over it...or it's all over him!
The views from our cabin.
Kaden & Versii making faces. Versii said, "look at my finger mustache!"
Josh telling more stories...and scaring Kaden again.
Here's Versii saying, "Look, I think I see some little midget monsters."
Enjoying their s'mores! Can't have a camp out without them.
Love this one!
Getting ready for bed.
