November 9, 2022: Josh testing out flying, with Jeff Barnson.
November 15th: Any sunny day, Tux will ring the bells constantly to go out and when you let him outside, he runs right to the couch to sit in the sun. He loves to be warm. His favorite spots are laying under the kitchen sink when the heater is blasting, snuggled under the covers or basking in the sun.
Cerin snuggled up on Kaden's bed.
November 16th: Kaden's P day. Both of us showing off our Quetzales. Guatemalan money.
I only had some because my brothers and Grandma wanted to send Kaden some money in the mission.
Kaden said that he didn't really have a good place to exchange American money for quetzales, so it would be best if we could send money in his currency. So I called the money exchange at the airport and they ordered up Quetzales, which we sent over to Kaden using a package service where they personally fly into Guatemala with your packages in their checked baggage and then drive it straight to the mission home. So I knew it would be a safe way to send him cash.
November 18th: Elder Owens.
Reminder that I keep a blog of all his mission letters and the pictures he sends at:

November 24th: Our first time hosting the family Thanksgiving dinner at our house.
Which means my first time cooking a turkey! It was quite the experience and it reminded me of that time I dressed the dead body of a woman who was a stranger. Anyway, I found the whole turkey prepping experience to be pretty disgusting and a little traumatizing, but I survived. I brined it the night before, drained and rinsed the brine off Thanksgiving morning. Then I had to reach my hands inside to separate the skin from the breast, so I could then shove 2 cubes of softened, seasoned butter inside between the skin and the breast. I stuffed the turkey cavity full of sliced onion and lemons and then rubbed seasoning all over the top and placed it inside a oven bag to cook.
I turned out perfectly, golden brown and so moist.
We were so excited to eat it, that I forgot to take a pictures of the cooked turkey. I didn't remember until we had almost devoured it all LOL!
