A Day on the Columbia Gorge

June 20, 2011 - Since we had Julie here in town. We decided to go out for a cruise on the Stern wheeler, check out the fish hatchery, visit the dam & stop off at Multnomah Falls. We took our nephew, Chris, along too. Above: Versii, after I found him in the bathroom trying to give himself a mohawk.
Eating at Char Burger just before our cruise.
Waiting to board the sternwheeler.
The Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler.
The boys checking out the train.

Versii kept calling the paddle wheels the "ferris wheel."

Washington on the left, Oregon on the right.
The boys steering the ship.

Playing at the park.

The boys playing around in the old "pill box," used during WWII.

Multnomah Falls.
Paxton fell asleep in the car on the way to the falls, so Mom stayed in the car with him while we took the short hike up to the bridge.
