Memorial Weekend Campout

May 25, 2018: Memorial Weekend we met my brother Reed's family over at Fort Stevens for a campout.
Kaden figuring if he closes his eyes, I won't take a photo.
Versii and Kaden love bike riding around the campground at Fort Stevens.
We bought Paxton a bike for his birthday, so he learned to ride at Fort Stevens...It was a rough go at first and he wanted to give up, but he kept at it and before he knew it, he was loving the rides around camp.

 My nephews Loren and Morgan.
Aunt Sakurako picked out this puppy carrier as a gift for the boys.  Kaden said it was the ultimate chick magnet.  Ha Ha!

Paxton with Uncle Reed, Loren, Aunt Sakurako, Morgan and their dog Jerry.
They had some neat re-enactments set up near the old Batteries at Fort Stevens in honor of Memorial Day.
The boys got to learn just how much work it took and how many men were needed to set off an artillery canon.

 Exploring the beach!

I love this photo of all of us!

Reed and Sakurako make camping so much fun!  They gave the boys glow bracelets, which they quickly went to work adding to their bikes for a cool ride.

We had such a great time!  The boys always enjoy camping!  And thanks to Reed and Sakurako, we ate amazing food yet again: Steak fajitas & Yakisoba make for delicious camp meals!
