Memorial Weekend: Bullard's Beach Campout: Day 1

May 28, 2021: On our way to Bullard's Beach in Oregon to camp for Memorial Weekend.
Originally we planned this campout with my brother Reed and his family, but there was some kind of water damage/flooding to Reed's trailer and they were so busy with work that they didn't have time to fix it before the campout.  So we invited our friend's the Shreiner's to join us.
Tux tried to patiently wait getting checked in at the campground.
May 29th: The boys all woke up early to go to town and ride sideXsides and ATV's on the sand dunes.  Since the accident, that's an activity I can no longer do, so I stayed back at camp.  I decided to walk to the beach.  The trail from our campsite to the beach is a mile each way.

We saw a lot of beauty along the path.

As we got closer to the beach and could hear the roar of the ocean, Tux seemed a little hesitant to continue on.  But we made it.

Selfie on the beach with Tux.  We rested on the beach for a few minutes before we journeyed back to camp.

When we got back to camp, I was sore and tired, so Tux and I took a much needed nap.

While we napped, the boys were busy playing on the dunes:
All geared up and ready to ride.

The boys said it was so much fun and had a blast taking turns driving!
The Scheiner's met them at the beach to ride too!
