Yards of Concrete

June 14, 2017: We've been planning these concrete slabs for a while.  Only this time, we hired a guy and his team to do the work for us.  And they did a great job!  Now we have a great place for the boys to play or to park an RV at the side of the house.
The backyard before.  We wanted a nice big patio space.

June 19, 2017: The back porch and sidewalk from ADU all poured.  The rebar stuck in the concrete is in preparation for the concrete retaining walls Josh and Kaden will build.

Paxton's Baptism

 June 10, 2017: Paxton's Baptism Day!
Making the choice to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  So proud of Paxton's decision and loved the Spirit we felt to be part of his special day!
Kaden gave a wonderful talk on Baptism and Versii sang "When I am Baptized" along with a group of Evan's siblings and cousins.  It was a beautiful day!

Our family.
Paxton and his brothers with Aunt Ann and Uncle Gary.
Paxton was excited to share his special day, with his friend, Evan, who is our Bishop's son.

Friends and Family who came out to support Paxton.

Grandma and Grandpa

Aunt Ann and Uncle Gary brought Paxton such fun and thoughtful gifts each referencing scriptures:
 A Flashlight:
"Let your light so shine before men." Matthew 5:16
 Tape Measure:
"With what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you."
Matthew 7:2; Mark 4:29; Luke 6:38 + 3 Nephi 14:2
 A Screwdriver Set:
"Paxton, Congratulations on your Baptism.  May you always be an effective tool in the Lord's hands to bring about much good.  Love, Great Uncle Gary and Great Aunt Ann"
A Necktie:
"The Nephites did not wear costly apparel, yet they were neat and comely. (Comely means: Pleasing in appearance, attractive, fair)" Alma 1:27

The boys with our Tour Guide.
After the tour, we hiked up to the top to take in the views.  Love this photo of my boys.

On our way back down we came upon a deer grazing near the trail.
Eating dinner in the Chateau.  We've never seen chocolate milk prepared quite like this!  Paxton was pretty excited!
