Family Getaway: San Francisco + the Redwoods

June 4, 2017: Driving through San Francisco on our way to see the Redwoods.  I just love the uniqueness of the row houses in San Francisco.

Stoping at the Golden Gate Bridge.

While Josh and the boys hopped out of the car to go take pictures at the bridge viewpoint, I hopped into the driver's seat of the van and got stuck waiting in a long line of cars looking for parking spots to open up.  And the car ended up overheating.  The engine fans need to be fixed.  Luckily, we think we caught it pretty quickly and were able to cool it down and Josh made sure to keep added water every time we stopped for gas.

After we resolved the car issue, we stopped at a few spots along the scenic highway.
The Chimney Tree: A tree that was hollowed out by fire and hunters used for a shelter.

 One-Log House
 Beautiful views along our drive.
 Swimming at the hotel pool.
They had the most beautiful wall I've ever seen in a hotel pool.

Versii requested I record him swimming for the first time.
June 5, 2017: Beach and Redwoods
