Washed-Out Cottonwood

May 22, 2017: Since the weather was starting to be warmer, the boys had been begging to go to Cottonwood Beach.  So Josh and I took them over, only to find out that the river was so high it had washed out the beach.  I've never seen so much water there.  Normally, these permanent boats the boys are pictured in above, are at the entrance to the beach and you walk just past the trees onto the sand.  But due to the mass amount of recent rainy days, the beach is not accessible right now.
The water near where the boys are running is not normally there, that's usually all dry ground.

We did manage to find a small pocket of beach that the boys could play on.  They just love being outside!  And they are so imaginative when they play.  --Kaden was not with us, as he was out on a bike ride.

Here are a few video clips we took while we were there.
