Ray's Celebration of Life

June 25, 2021: Spreading Ray's ashes in the Dolores River, just below the deck Ray helped build at the Outpost Motel.

It rained right after, but it was a beautiful time with family and friends.

June 26: I helped the girls set up for the Celebration of Life by arranging greenery they had collected from the forest nearby.

Ray was a volunteer Fire Fighter in Dolores for several years, so the fire department arranged to bring a truck with the American flag in honor of Ray and his years of service in the community.
Josh performing at Ray's Celebration.  He sang "Just Breathe" and then accompanied Ray's granddaughter Fiona, while she sang "Go Rest High on that Mountain".
It was a beautiful program filled with laughter and tears as we listened to shared memories of Ray.

The boys attended the service and then they left to go hang out at their Uncle Jordan and Aunt Jamie's for the evening.

Not the best photo, but this is the only photo of Josh and I at Ray's celebration.
I spent most of my time taking photos of everyone else for the LeBlanc Family.
