I had wanted to have family photos taken this year, but it did not happen, so this photo session was brought to you by the brilliant idea that we could shoot our own family pictures upstairs ourselves with the tripod and timer. I took these pictures of the boys, they insisted on being photographed with guns and swords. And the family shots are via tripod and timer. The boys were less than cooperative and it was a struggle to get the photo we ended up with. I even went so far as to photoshop the last photo, because in the best photo Tux (our dog) was mostly hidden behind Kaden's head, so I transferred a version of him from another photo to complete the look. And in the end, none of us really loved any of them, so we opted to make our Christmas card into a collage of photos from the year.
