Kaden on his first day of his Freshman year in High School!
This year, the first day of school was different, as it was raining ash. We had ash blowing over from across the river where wildfires were burning in the Columbia Gorge.

The wildfires jumped the river, into Washington, a few days after school started back and were burning only 23 miles away from us. And our kids had indoor recess for the first week of school due to the poor air quality.
The skies were so filled with smoke, that we couldn't see across the river for several days.
September 6, 2017
The day after school started, Seminary started up.
