Scout Camp Week

 July 27, 2015
Both Kaden and Versii had their first scout camps the same week.
Above: Kaden's first official Scout Camp...4 am drop off was way too early, but I guess when camp is at the coast and they want to be there by breakfast, it's what you have to do.
Below: Versii and I ready for his first day of Cub Scout Day Camp at Camp Currie, here in Camas.  I spent the first two days volunteering, so it was fun to spend time with him.  And Mom graciously took care of Paxton while we were at camp.  Thanks Mom!

Versii's group at camp: The Klingons
The theme was Star Trek.
The last day of the camp, each group did a skit and the families were invited to lunch.
Paxton waiting in the lunch line.
They worked hard at camp and Versii earned a lot of patches.  Which means I had a lot of sewing to do.  It takes a while to hand stitch 21 patches on a pocket.  Good job Versii!

Kaden spent his week at Camp Meriweather out near Cape Lookout.  He's lucky to be able to camp at such a beautiful place.  Look at that view!
Josh was able to go up and spend time with Kaden, volunteering at his camp.
