Texas: Mimi & Papa's in Boerne

August 18, 2020: Heather took me to Buccee's...it's basically a super huge gas station and practically one stop "grab what you forgot to pack for your trip" store.

 

You can even snag yourself matching Buccee the Beaver swimwear!

Or this very 90's style color-blocked pull-over.

Naturally I had to take the boys on our way home from Athens to see the wall of candy and experience Buccee's for themselves.

Our friends the Higgins, who use to live down the street, moved to Texas a few months back.  They drove up from Austin to Boerne to spend the day with us.  L to R: Sean, Kaden, Versii, Josh, Liam, Ella, Joy and Erika.

Then we decided to stop and play along the Guadelupe River.  

They have a rope swing and the boys had the greatest time swinging and jumping into the river.
