South Trip Yelapa

 April 6th, 2019:
South Trip Yelapa Excursion.

Josh and Paxton getting ready to go snorkeling.
Versii decided he didn't want to try it.
The emerald waters of Majahuitas cove.
Our boat stopped in the waters of this private beach and the only way to get to the beach was to swim to shore.
Paxton and Josh just after they jumped in the water.
Versii watching safely from the 2nd story of the boat.
At some point, Versii decided he would venture into the water and follow the line to shore.
I climbed down the boat ladder and slowly waded with my life preserver to shore too.  There we relaxed on the shore and had a mini photo session.
Getting ready to dock at the village of Yelapa.
The boys got to hold the iguanas.
Josh and the boys decided to ride horses to the waterfall.
Actually Paxton rode a horse, while Versii and Josh rode mules.  I felt the distance and ride might be too much for my body to handle, so I opted to sit on the beach and relax while the boys were off adventuring.

Yelapa's waterfall: Apparently not much water.
But the boys sure enjoyed the journey to get there.

The boys found me, after their ride, enjoying a lemon-ade and nachos on the beach.

This sweet dog came and hung out with us as well.
 On our way back.
It was a beautiful day exploring!
